Greek On Wheels opened its doors on Hawthorne Ave in 1996 with one idea: fast food didn't have to mean junk food. Charbroiled souvlaki, real salads, tzatziki made the right way — delivered before that was cool.
Ottawa noticed. Thirteen straight years voted best take-out and best Greek food, and orders from the Prime Minister's office to the mayor's desk. The original kitchen still serves Hawthorne Ave today — with six siblings across the city. Today that work has a name: Greek catering in Ottawa, from seven kitchens.
